Tuition classes for beginners

Beginners courses are available at the reservoir and run under qualified instruction during the season.

Classes operate on Saturdays at £59 per person, and this includes rod hire for the day.  The course covers casting, tackle, knots, techniques, trout behaviour plus safety as well as providing lunch and an opportunity to try out fishing in the afternoon.

The beginners course is a great introduction to fly fishing, where we also welcome junior anglers (must be aged 8 years or over). 

Anyone can join, so book early to avoid disappointment.
