Water Direct
If you currently receive an account from us and are in arrears with your water services charges and receive Income Support, Income Based Job Seekers Allowance, Income Based Employment and Support Allowance or Pension Credit, we can apply to the Department for Work and Pensions to take a regular amount from your benefit and pay it directly to us. This is called the Third Party Deduction Scheme.
The advantage of choosing this method of payment is that your current charges will be paid automatically along with your arrears and you may also receive an annual discount of £3.00. Essex & Suffolk Water guarantees that whilst you are paying using this scheme, no further recovery action will be taken.
