Essex & Suffolk Water has some of the premier fishing sites in the UK. Our main site at Hanningfield is nationally recognised as one of the top places to fish in the region, offering an exceptionally high quality of fishing.
The fishing combined with the facilities on offer help to make our fisheries the great day out that they consistently are.

• Season opens on Saturday 6 March 2010.
• Bank fishing times from 7.00am until 9.00pm or sunset (whichever is sooner).
• Brown trout season 1 April to 31 October 2010.
• The Credit cruncher permit is available from 12noon.
• Boat hire rates apply to both season and day permit holders.
• Boats to be back on the jetty at times displayed in the fishing lodge. Times may vary.
• Tickets and tackle will be available daily from the lodge from 8.00am until 4.00pm.
• Season permits are valid during the extended season.
Credit cruncher
We also have the pleasure of bringing back our fantastic Credit Cruncher permit for the 2010 season. This permit allows you to catch up to four fish for just £17 – so there really is no excuse not to come down to the reservoir and spend a relaxing yet fun-filled day fishing. This is really exceptional value for money and means there has never been a better time to start fishing.
