Unmetered charges in Suffolk

57p a day or £209 for the year starting 1st April 2011 is the typical household bill for domestic customers who are not on a meter. And, if you pay by direct debit directly to us this amount is reduced by £3.00. 

Charges (for the period of 1 April 2011 – 31 March 2012)

Your unmetered water services bill is in two parts.

• A fixed charge.

• A charge based on the rateable value (RV) of your property.

You pay

• A fixed charge of £53.30.

• A charge of 101.40p per £ of rateable value.

Sewerage charges

There will also be charges for the removal of your wastewater. Anglian Water will bill you for these charges. You can contact them on 0845 791 9155 for any queries.

There are government regulations to protect you if you or someone in your household receives certain benefits or tax credits and live in a property with a water meter. To qualify for WaterSure, you must also have three or more children up to 19 years old in full-time education who live with you, or someone in your household who has a medical condition which means they use a lot of water. If this applies to you, you do not have to pay more than the average household bill - you could save money.
