WaterSure

There are government regulations to protect you if you or someone in your household receives certain benefits or tax credits and live in a property with a water meter. To qualify for WaterSure, you must also have three or more children up to 19 years old in full-time education who live with you, or someone in your household who has a medical condition which means they use a lot of water. If this applies to you, you do not have to pay more than the average household bill - you could save money.

Water charges

If your bill is greater than £182.00 per year for water, you may benefit from WaterSure.

Sewerage charges

In our Essex area of supply, if your wastewater services are provided by Thames Water, we collect the charge on their behalf.

If your wastewater services are provided by Anglian Water and your WaterSure application is successful, we will advise Anglian Water for you.
