Water for living - how much is enough?

One day conference at One Great George Street, Westminster, 16th May 2007

Ian Pearson MP, Minister of State (Climate Change and the Environment) and Regina Finn, Chief Executive Ofwat, lead an impressive line up of speakers at the one day conference, hosted by Essex & Suffolk Water, held at One Great George Street, Westminster, London on 16th May 2007.

This inspiring conference provided the opportunity to debate what is a realistic and reasonable amount of water for people                                                                        to use and endeavoured to put it in context with other sustainable goals.  It progressed the debate on sustainable living by considering all ‘green’ initiatives in a joined up way. It also looked at behavioural patterns of water use and how they can be influenced, and attempted to answer questions such as ‘how easy is it to encourage behavioural change?’ and ‘how is this best done’.

We welcome your feedback on any aspect of the conference. If you have any comments, please email donna.aylett@eswater.co.uk
