Water supply (water fittings) regulations 1999

All water supply companies had Byelaws, which The Water Regulations replaced in 1999. The Water Regulations are intended to prevent the contamination, waste, misuse, undue consumption and erroneous measurement of water supplied by a water undertaker. They are a set of regulations provided by the government, to guide you through the correct design, installation and modification of your plumbing systems. They cover the full range of systems, from the installation of a bidet in your house, through to a full fire sprinkler system in a large warehouse, for example.
