Ranger's review: Final days see wintry conditions

Cold and windy conditions prevailed for most of the final week however it is safe to say that in the last few days a good time was had by all. The trout had gone deep and a Black and Green Booby on a D.I.7 was once again the top fish producing method. Hall point still produced the majority of the fish however the drop off at Atlantis in the last few days also started to produce good quality rainbows. Float fished worm was the top choice for our any method anglers and produced fish right up to the last day. On the last day some of our regular fly anglers enjoyed a change and a productive session using this method.

New season casts off Saturday 10 March 2012

Finally we would like to thank our anglers for their valued custom throughout the 2011 season and wish you all a fantastic Christmas and a very happy new year.
