Environmental Statement
The planning applications for the Abberton Scheme are accompanied by an Environmental Statement. The Environmental Statement includes an assessment of the predicted environmental effects of the proposed scheme.

The full Environmental Statement (15 volumes) will be available for public inspection at the Essex Wildlife Trust Visitors Centre adjacent to Abberton Reservoir and by appointment at Essex & Suffolk Water’s offices at Hall Street in Chelmsford. For additional locations please contact either Colchester Borough Council, Braintree District Council, East Cambridgeshire District Council or St Edmundsbury Borough Council.
Printed copies may be purchased at the production cost of £400 + p&p. Electronic copies are available free of charge. Email abberton@eswater.co.uk for all enquiries regarding the Environmental Statement.
