Two national legends are soon to land on 700,000 doormats across Essex and Suffolk.
Ant and Dec, who are known for hosting game shows, appear on the front cover of Essex & Suffolk Water’s customer magazine, Source, helping to promote the water company’s ‘Water for health’ and ‘Waterwise’ campaigns.
Claire Bishop from Essex & Suffolk Water said: “Thousands of copies of our customer magazine will be distributed this week. The magazine covers a variety of interesting and informative topics.
“Source demonstrates how Essex & Suffolk Water is involved in all aspects of life in the region and is an ideal way to communicate with customers”.
Essex & Suffolk Water has invested millions of pounds over the years to improve the quality of the region’s drinking water, rivers and coastline to bring the region into the modern age with innovation and technology. The magazine will keep customers up-to-date with various projects.
A number of topics are covered in the magazine including details of water efficiency trials carried out in homes across Essex and ways to save water in the home and garden.
There is also information about the proposals to enlarge Abberton reservoir near Colchester which will ensure that Essex has a sustainable water supply for the future.
Also covered is the very important topic of climate change and how it affects many aspects of our lives. The water company is committed to managing water resources and waste water management effectively, reducing energy use and cutting down on carbon emissions.
