Children at a special school will feel the benefit of a charity donation.
Youngsters at the John Grant School in Caister have been given £250 towards sensory equipment which will help the children’s development.
Essex & Suffolk Water donated the money after essential work to renew water mains pipes at the time of a Christmas lights display organised to raise money for the school, which takes pupils up to the age of nineteen.
Jacqueline Searle from Essex & Suffolk Water said: “We are always pleased to help out with worthwhile causes and were delighted to be able to help the school by donating this money.”
Leanne George, co-educator at the school added: “We are really pleased to receive this donation – it will benefit children throughout the school and will help them with their development.”
