Water customers across Essex and Suffolk can now tap into a great new website.

Essex & Suffolk Water has revitalised the world of water on the web for users.  Navigation around the site is much easier while being fun and informative.

All the family, from children to grandparents, can surf the web to learn more about water and waste water services including advice on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle, whacky but true water facts, charity events and support, and what the water company employees can do for local communities through its ‘Just an Hour’ volunteering scheme.

Online communication between the water company and its customers has also been improved.  As well as being able to pay bills online customers can also now view bills online.  Applications for job vacancies at the water company can now be submitted online.

Claire Bishop from Essex & Suffolk Water said: “Our website now acts as a window into the world of Essex & Suffolk Water and is only a click away.  Its transformation allows our customers, shareholders and the wider community to not only look through the window, but also interact in a pro-active way.”

Finding out more about what is happening in local areas, including essential improvement work or community activities, has been made clearer and easier.

Families who enjoy the outdoors can navigate around the site to find out more about Essex & Suffolk Water’s leisure facilities at Hanningfield reservoir.

Children can log-on and learn about the world of water as the H2O Gang talk about the importance of water, a vital and precious resource.

A simple click provides useful tips on the health benefits of drinking tap water and using water wisely – all the family can have fun while playing the ‘water family game’ to learn how much water is being used in the home and how much can be saved.  The message is be generous with what you drink, but wise with what you use.

Tap in to a world of fun and knowledge on Essex & Suffolk Water’s website, log-on to www.eswater.co.uk now!
