Weather watch

22/05/2007

Weather forecaster Michael Fish has been sharing his thoughts on global warming with an audience in Chelmsford.

Michael, Britain’s longest-serving weather forecaster, spoke about how the weather could be affected by global warming.

The event, sponsored by Essex & Suffolk Water (ESW), was held at Writtle College and was part of the Chelmsford Cathedral Festival.

Michael was introduced to the audience by Martin Lunn, supply demand strategy manager at ESW, who spoke about climate change and the water industry.

Martin said: “Michael had some very interesting observations on what is a very important subject for us all."
