Pudsey Bear and Essex & Suffolk Water's Superheroes will be making a special appearance for Children in Need on Friday 14 November in Chelmsford High Street.
Water workers will spend the day pedalling for Pudsey to raise pounds on a static racing bike from a base in the High Street to see how many miles they can cover in eight hours. Look out for water volunteers and help them fill their buckets to the brim for Children in Need.
The Superheroes, known as the H2O Gang, tell stories through a series of comics to provide an educational resource for primary school children to learn about the Water Cycle in a fun and interactive way.
The bike that will be used to clock up the miles and the money for Children in Need was kindly donated for the event by Grips, a Mountain Bike Shop in Rayleigh.
Jacqueline Searle from the Corporate Affairs Team said "We have strong links into our local community and are delighted to support our employees who are able to give some work time to such a worthwhile cause. We hope our larger than life Superheros will create a flood of funds for Pudsey".
