IT'S showtime - and two Chelmsford charities will benefit.
Mayor of Chelmsford Nicolette Chambers has organised the event to raise money for her charities - CHESS the charity for homeless people in Chelmsford and the YMCA.
Essex and Suffolk Water is supporting the event which will include performances from X Factor finalist Daniel de Bourg, Boreham Ladies Choir, Essex Dance Group, Boswells Jazz Band and Cathedral Primary School.
advertisementThe evening on March 16 will feature over 100 performers providing a complete range of entertainment.
MrsChambers said: "All the acts have come forward as volunteers for the event - this is a terrific testament to the talent and warm hearts of the people of Chelmsford."
Jacqueline Searle from the corporate affairs team of ESW added: "This is a great way to recognise the talent of people from the local area and raise money for charity at the same time.
"We are very pleased that we have been given the chance to support this event."
The event starts at 6.30pm with tickets £11 for adults and £7 for children aged 12 and under.
They are available from the Civic Theatre Box Office.
